Guiding Question: How did you first learn a language?
Learning Objective: TSW (the student will) use the IB speaking rubric to evaluate the blabberize projects.

We had some technical difficulties today unfortunately and it took a while to get this rolling because the blabberize website was running very slowly.  After a little frustration and many attempts to problem solve, we discovered that the delay was caused by the search engine on Blabberize and we just copy/pasted directly from Sra. Rivera's email inbox.  This activity helped us further understand the rubric.  After this activity we also self-assessed our own achievement when listening to Spanish.

Note: the peer evaluations have no impact on the grade Sra. Rivera gives us, it is just an attempt to reach into some of the higher levels of Blooms and to see the projects that we worked so hard on.

  3. 1-I didnt like tha blabberize, i like the classic exam style tests, not "fun" and different things like this...
2-I liked this project, because you got to express your personality by using animals, or other people, etc.
3-I have no idea how you could change this assignment without just making it a normal paper test to assess our spanish-speaking skills, because that is the best way in my opinion.

  4. I enjoyed making blabberizes to show our knowledge. It was much more fun than taking a test. I liked this project because it was fun and a good way of showing our knowledge without haveing to study and take a test. I also memorized the vocab better doing it this way. I dont think i would change anything because it seems like every one enjoyed making them.

  7. I thought the blabberize assignment was fun to make. My favorite part about this assignment was doing the voice recording. I think this activity wouldve been better if we had more headsets to record the sound because then it wouldve sounded better.

  12. I didn't really find the Blabberize assignment all that interesting or fun.

I didn't really have a favorite part about it.

I think it would have been better not to have done it.
